The foundation of the e-novation organisation was laid at the beginning of 2019 with the vision in mind to provide innovative and cutting edge solutions to engineering challenges in the automotive industry.

In order to support the growing demands in the current projects, the e-novation team was strengthened with the addition of a new R&D center in Brasov. In close collaboration with the Transilvania University of Brasov, as an academic partner, the e-novation team actively organised internship projects and provided academic guidance for future engineering talents.

Along existing projects in the area of Software Engineering, the area of expertise is widened by acquiring technical know-how and projects in the area of System Engineering with focus on functional safety and cybersecurity. The e-novation team steadily grows in numbers and experience to reach a team of 15 talented engineers.

The e-novation team builds a hardware-in-the-loop testing automation framework which allows the automatic creation and execution of thousands of test cases to simulate real-life scenarios for specific automotive electronic control units.

The e-novation team leverages state-of-the-art tools and approaches within embedded software development teams and creates a bridge between project management, software development and automated regression testing. By means of a developed XCP flash kernel, a raspberry setup and tools like Jira, Bitbucket and Gitlab, the developed software is automatically cloned, built and tested for each Jira ticket on demand, providing via complex test reports an insight into the robustness of the software.
